Name: Trey (surname unknown)
Sex: Male
Age: 38
Height: 6'1"
Position: Hardcore; unofficial 'chief of security'.
Appearance: Trey is a Mayalan/Raptrin half caste, and has a powerful build although it wouldn't be correct to think of him as muscle-bound. The word "sturdy" come to mind when you look at him. He had a low brow and therefore always seems to be serious, but he has very gentle brown eyes that always seem to reflect what he feels; he can keep his emotions from his face, but not from his eyes. His hair is light-brown, medium length and unkempt, and his feathers are a strange, slightly greyish brown which gives him a rather smoky look. His beak is rather yellower than normal, and somewhat paler too, but otherwise his Mayalan genes are dominant in that respect.
Attire: Generally he wears a pair of black tracksuit pants with a single stripe of red down the outer side of the right leg, the ends of the clacks tucked into his boots. The boots themselves are black-soled leather boots, more like regular army boots than the Resistance-style ones. He also wears a shirt, but it's so old and tatty that it can't really be called a shirt anymore rather than a garment that hangs in shredded loops around his chest.
Weaponry: Mostly, he only needs his strength because being able to disarm a man and toss him into a wall with a flick of your wrist is generally all you need to get around with, but occasionally he uses whatever is at hand for a weapon. A conveniant piece of ripped out piping for example.
Accent: A very soft Cainian (duCaine Metropolis Remaican - think plain ol' New York accent) with a slight hissing quality.
Personality: Quiet. He rarely says anything, and when he does it's in a whispery voice quite unfitting for a man of his size, and it is always short. For Trey, one/two word sentances are normal oral styling, so when he gets above four you can be sure something serious is in the offing. In a normal coversation he's able to make a single word into both a statement and a question if that's what he's trying to get across, and he never sees the need to raise his voice.
While he can get quite vicious when angry, normally he's a rather gentle man though not averse to the odd fight in order to prove a point. He has a rather military presence; when being addressed he comes straight to attention, he salutes often, and when in a formal situation calls people above him "sir"/"ma'am" while those below him are called by their rank or surname. He instinctively respects those in a higher rank than him, but those lower have to earn his respect and loyalty.
Trey is forward to the point of candor, he says whatever is on his mind and doesn't hesitate to point out flaws in plans and arguments both that could be potentially dangerous. His opinion is rated highly - although not always followed, at least not by the impetuous, and this rancours him a bit especially if they get hurt. He also gives out advice on other matters; sort of like the old retainer everybody needs to talk to once in a while. He listens well and if asked to keep a secret he WILL keep it unless he feels the safety of his friends will be jeopardized by doing so.
Brief History: Trey came out of nowhere one day, and no one really knows what has happened in his past. He has admitted a more than passing involvement in the military - "Were you in the military once or something?" "Yes." - but no one has actually got around to asking him what he did or why he's had such a serious change of heart. It is not known if he has any family alive somewhere although it is doubtful he has a wife or children. However, Trey has been known to surprise people, so who can tell.
Overheard:
"Interesting." (It's his favourite word. He never says things are "fascinating" or, on the flip side, "dull", they're always "interesting". No one's certain if he's being sincere or sarcastic so they just assume the likeliest from context.)
"Weapons. Down."
"Who disagrees, step over there. In firing range."
