Appearance: Dusty brown feathers, hair streaked grey from age, dark brown eyes. Always calm, with an air of dignity and authority that is imposing but not intimidating. His face is kind, and his voice is strong and firm, but still gentle. He's tall and lean, and in good shape for a man his age.
Personality: A definate family man, devoted to his wife and daughter. He's a patriot. His first duty is to Puckworld, and he's often short on time, but he does his best to make time for his family. An excellent mediator, he's talented at understanding why people feel the way they do, and how a world's culture affects their behavior.
History: Unremarkable, really. Deke went through school and entered the Civil Service. He met and married Irena during his ambassadorial training. He distinguished himself early on by negotiating several important treaties. Lila was born. Deke landed an offworld assignment in the royal court of one of Puckworld's allies, and took his family with him. The LaGlace family moved back to Puckworld when Lila was twelve and set up in Drakewind Heights. Deke still works, on and offworld, but always spends quality time with his family.
